Ivan joined as the CEO of Shaw Investment APAC and Decode Group. His background is diverse, with extensive experience in operations and management across various industries including finance, power, utilities, military, and healthcare.
Ivan led the Family Office in successfully acquiring and turning around multiple sectors, such as hospitals, fintech, aquaculture, agriculture, properties, manufacturing plants, power plants, and a financial institution across various continents. One of his notable achievements was spearheading the turnaround of Biolidics Limited’s finances, culminating in its successful listing on the Singapore Stock Exchange in December 2018, for which he received the Singapore Business Review - Listed Companies Award in 2019.
His previous experience includes roles as CEO of Ramky International (S) Pte Ltd and Director of Ramky Environmental Engineering Limited, where he led significant partnerships between major environmental firms in India and China. He was instrumental in securing and managing the world's largest environmental project in India.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in the development and financial turnaround of projects worth over US$4.2 billion. He is conversant with public listings on various stock exchanges, having raised over US$320 million since 2016. Ivan is a Qualified Director as recognized by the Singapore Institute of Directors for Listed Entities and a member of prestigious organizations such as the Rotary Club of Singapore and the Singapore Think Tank. He is also appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Global Family Office (GFO) & Single Family Office (SFO) Advisory Group at the Wealth Management Institute (WMI).
He manages the corporate social responsibility initiatives, including education scholarships and sponsorships for Shaw Family Offices. He is frequently invited as the keynote speaker at various international forums, sharing insights on global business trends and leadership.
